BlueJ version 1.0.3 has been released
-------------------------------------
BlueJ 1.0.3 is a bug fix release that rectifies some problems in the
previous version. It does not provide significant new functionality. Among
the bug fixes are:
- calling static methods on abstract classes works now
- class names can be changed by changing the name in the source
- using "Get" to get an object and calling methods works
- installation for JDK 1.3 has been improved
- printing TAB characters works now
BlueJ 1.0.3 is fully compatible with Java 2 SDK v 1.3 (a.k.a. JDK 1.3), as
well as JDK 1.2.2.
The next feature release (version 1.1) is expected in about two months. It
will include support for nested packages, UML style diagram look and
possibly group work support.
