We have now released an update, BlueJ version 2.2.1a, which should work without problems on Mac OS X with Java 6. This release is identical in functionality to version 2.2.1, and has been released only for Mac OS X to fix this particular problem. Users who do not use Mac OS X do not need to update. For those Mac OS users who have and would like to use Java 6, please note that Java 6 is not the default Java version, even if it is installed. To use Java 6 with BlueJ, you will need to open the 'Java Preferences' utility and select Java 6 as the preferred Java version. BlueJ will then use it. Regards, The BlueJ Team
