Exercise 9.8 offers the hint to use protected access in the fields of Item (although it also states this is only to be done under certain cirumstances, and should otherwise remain private, but that methods could be protected.)  How does this help to manipulate the print statement so that is prints the third line to be number of tracks appended to minutes?

If anyone has any information about this problem, could you please reply?  
The exercise hints to make something in item protected and then says to make other changes in Item.
