Hi all,

As mentioned previously the bluej-discuss list is now limited to
discussion of issues directly related to BlueJ, and not general Java
programming questions nor problems with exercises from the "Objects
First with Java" book.

There are many alternative places to ask non-BlueJ related questions:

1) Forums at http://forum.java.sun.com/ - there are forums for "New to
Java" and "Java Programming" as well as many more specific topics.

2) Javaranch - http://www.javaranch.com/ - "A Friendly Place for Java
Greenhorns". Hosts "The Big Moose Saloon" (another bunch of forums).

3) Javalobby - http://www.javalobby.org/ - more forums

4) Google - http://www.google.com - many common questions can be
answered by a quick search using a good search engine.

5) Your tutor or lecturer, if applicable!

For questions to do with the "Objects First with Java" (Barnes/Kölling)
book, you can use the newly created "objects-first-discussion" list,
join at:
   http://lists.bluej.org/mailman/listinfo/objects-first-discussion

For technical support regarding problems in installing or running BlueJ,
use the support request form on the website:
   http://www.bluej.org/help/supportform.html

Thanks for co-operation,
Davin
