[Bluej-discuss] general question

The bluej archives have been a great benefit to me for learning Java, however I have a question about the text book. In the book there are exercises after various segments of text, in which what you learn is reiterated and in many cases you can't double check your answers. Is there a reason for this? Wouldn't it be a bit more practical if you could?
