Good evening Aryeh

Many thanks for your reply.

I'm afraid you have lost me a little.
Please bear with me. As said I really am at the beginning stages, have
heard of "java-jar" but, unsure what this means.
I have looked through the internet which seems to read (java jar) is a
piece of software, of which, appears to open and unpackage files,
checkng for errors?

My program does execute and does open what you call a counsole window
(displays a box showing the words 'return statement' with others) and
should show data of original input 'set' but, when executing a 'get' it
remains blank when the window pops up again?

Sorry if I am a little vague, it is my first year at Uni and I very much
enjoy java and know I have a lot to learn. You appear to be very
knowledgeable, and your experience and time is very much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Regards

Ruth
