It's produced by Lindsey Ford, who is associated with the CS department 
at the University of Exeter in the UK. Lindsey had a poster and a 
demonstration of it (or related/previous work) at ITiCSE in Leeds in '04 
that are available in the ACM Digital Library:

I had a very quick look. It seems to be a nice program execution 
visualisation and description environment. It's not clear how amenable 
it is to the generation of new lessons.
