Sure you already have, but have you consulted with the legal department of
your university? They may not be experts in this area, but I'm sure your
university has some form of counsel that would be interested in this matter.

Someone pointed out to me today that Microsoft has filed for patent for the
BlueJ Object Bench.

This means, if the patent is granted, that they could force us to stop
