[Bluej-discuss] Some Features I'd Like to See in BlueJ

I have a few features that I'd like to see added to BlueJ:

1. Would it be possible to add a feature to BlueJ so that every file in
the project that needs to be compiled is automatically compiled. This
includes files in packages. At the moment, it seems that if I use
"Compile", files in packages below the current level aren't recompiled,
only the current "level" is. This also applies to "Rebuild Package"--is
that right? What I'm thinking of is something like "Compile All".

2. Could we please have a single keyboard control for running the main
method. The user could be given an option to set command line parameters
in a dialog somewhere (in Preferences?"). These parameters would be
persistent and used each time main was run, without asking.

3. Could we have persistent Terminal settings. I'm often forgetting to
set "Clear Screen at Method Call" and "Unlimited Buffering" options.

If any of these things are currently possible I apologise in advance.

Cheers,

Chris
