[Bluej-discuss] excersies solutions?

I too am attempting to teach myself Java. I bought this book because it
gives a fantastic introduction to Java that no other publication I have read
can offer. I say this because the real world is like that, there are not
usually published solutions to your problem. You must research and test to
find your solution.
A student is a student, self taught or not makes no difference.
The fact that there are no published solutions to the exercises is a GOOD
thing. If the exercise works, then you know you have done it as correctly as
needed, if not then the answers ARE available, you just have to research
(just like the real world!)
Stick with it, you will be glad you did.
