Dear BlueJers,

We would like to invite you to the

		   BlueJ / Greenfoot Day 2008

to be held in conjunction with SIGCSE 2008 on 12 March 2008 in Portland.

The day is actually a half-day event, held on the afternoon on the
Wednesday before the main conference programme.

The afternoon will be packed with talks, presentations, demonstrations
and discussions about both BlueJ and Greenfoot, including all aspects
from beginners advice over advanced tips to discussions about concrete
classroom use.

The programme has not yet been finalised, but we expect that everyone
who is either using BlueJ or Greenfoot, or thinking about using one of
the systems, or just wants to find out more about them, should find
interesting material in the day. Presentations will be given by key
BlueJ / Greenfoot development team members and experienced adopters of
the systems. The afternoon will include plenty of opportunity for
questions and discussion.

Maybe best of all, participation is free (but requires registration
for organisational reasons). Registration will open within a few days,
and the final programme will be published shortly.

Further information and a registration page is available at http://www.bluej.org/bluej-greenfoot-day.html

We hope to see many of you in March in Portland!

Kind regards,

Michael Kölling
for the BlueJ/Greenfoot team
