btw I meant i=i+1 instead of i++

The absolute best "strangeness" I have seen (C not Java) is 10==i
under the theory that a type on == would be a syntax error not an
assignment.  The same person claimed that ++i was better then i++
because it made the intent "clearer" (??!!?)
