Vista vs XP problem:
If I create a BlueJ project under XP, and copy that project to Vista, it runs under Vista seemingly perfectly, and I can continue development of the project under Vista. However, if I copy a project in the other direction it won't compile. I've tested this as follows:
(1) start with Project A on the XP; copy Project A to Vista. Save this project (recompiling) as Project B on Vista.
(2) Test Projects A and B under BlueJ on Vista: both run correctly
(3) Copy both projects A and B back to XP.
(4) Test Projects A and B under BlueJ on Vista: Project A (which wasn't recompiled on Vista) still runs fine, but Project B won't compile (it doesn't seem to be able to see one class from another).
I can't see any difference in the source code.
Do I have some setting within BlueJ set differently/wrongly?
regards,
Hugh
